How long will my repair/service will take?
We repair most issues within 2-3 days, we also offer a 24-hour priority service (subject to availability of parts if needed). If we need to order parts then we can normally get them next day delivery. We realize how difficult being without your computer can be and we will always try to get it back to you as quickly as possible.
How much will my repair will cost me?
We will always offer you a fixed price for the repair, for example if your laptop screen needs to be replaced we will give you a total price for the work before starting. In the event we need to diagnose the problem first we charge $50 diag fee which is waived if you go ahead with the repair. We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises; we want you to know exactly what your repair will cost before we complete the work.
Why would I want to use you when I could go to a big brand high street store such as PC World?
Offering our personal service is at the top of our list; you will speak directly to the person working on your computer so you can explain the situation in detail. We turnaround repairs quickly, we don’t send anything away to service centers, and we don’t quote 5+ days for repairs. We don’t charge any upfront costs, you only pay for work once it’s completed and when you are happy with it.
Can you replace cracked/damaged screens?
Absolutely, we repair screens all the time and it’s much cheaper than buying a new one. Contact us for a quick quote!
I'm worried about my data, is it safe?
You entrust Computer Spirit to safeguard your personal information when we service your devices. we treat your information with care. We have technical and physical safeguards that reflect this obligation.
Computer Spirit processes are designed for us to avoid unnecessary access to confidential information. We never access data on a customer’s device except in limited circumstances, and only to the extent necessary to perform the service, such as when you ask us to recover your data. When your information is still on a device that you trade in or give to Computer Spirit for recycling, the device is protected until it is sent to the appropriate location for data wipe or disposal.
There are ways you can safeguard your data, too. If possible, you should back up your data and important files prior to bringing your device in for service. Safeguarding your information by backing up or removing sensitive data from your device will give you peace of mind that your information is secure.
