I personally normally try to stay away from smaller local businesses for computer repair due to their somewhat bad reputation for overpricing, but I decided to try this place because of its generally good rating on Yelp.

It was great, the owner was helpful and to the point, he clearly had experience because he diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it efficiently without trying to sell me extra gimmicks.

Would definitely go back again.

I never rate 5 stars but this place really blew me away with the customer service. I called Laurence at around 3:30 pm and he missed my call so I sent a voicemail outlining the problem I was having with my 2011 MacBook Pro. I wasn’t really expecting much help because most of the time unless it specifically says something to the effect of “We Fix Macs!!” then they normally don’t want to “waste their time”. I know that they can be tricky to work with, but he called me back around 4:15 pm that same day and profusely apologized for missing my call. In the end not only was he able to fix my mac but he did a clean up that made it run smoother and efficient.

Now next time my computer is acting up I know where to go!

I recently got a nasty Trojan virus on my desktop at home and had to find someplace to get it removed. I checked out in the “Yelpverse” and saw that the closest place to me was
Computer Spirit. I was a little bit hesitant but decided I didn’t have much to lose. When I went in and told him the problem he knew exactly what to do to fix it. Another cool thing is that his diagnostic fee of $50 is included in the total price of the fix.

All in all Laurence was great he fixed the problem with minimal cost and stress to me. My desktop now runs like new and I haven’t had any problems since.
DEFINITELY a good choice in my book.

In a day and age where most big box stores are staffed by carefree youth that joke about “nah we don’t carry stand offs in the store, either buy them on line and you’ll get em within 48 hours OR you can drive all the way to Frys” As in Sorry old man your stuck with us. It was GREAT to happen across Computer Spirit. I’m helping my Nephew put together a new computer and at 5 PM we figured out all we needed were the stands. Pretty crappy way to start a build. 5:30 we hit the 3rd big retailer with NO luck. Not only was I ecstatic to read that they were open till 6 but they were only a mile away. Not only did he have standoffs, he knew what they were, he had PLENTY in stock. Then to top it off he gave us the absolute best price I’ve ever seen on any computer item. It was like he was giving them away.

I know standoffs are a very very low dollar item, but they were crucial for what we planned to get accomplished that night. They had em, he obviously gave us THE BEST deal, FAR below what any other places were charging (Even Amazon). At this point we were willing to pay Radio Shack prices of $3.50 for four of em. NOT at Computer Spirit!
Fun likable guy too. I use to drive out to Westlake for similar parts. Now that I found a place a lot closer to home with a guy who actually smiles, they will be our first stop for computer parts from now on.

Its not often that my nephew heres me say much of anything positive, but as we were driving away I told him THATS how you do business.

All I can say is wow! I took in an ancient computer that died. It was determined the hard drive was fine but the screen died. I then brought in a newer computer that needed to be regressed for Windows 10 to Windows 7 and then set up as a single purpose machine to use with special testing equipment. The job was done and the newer computer is doing its job perfectly. This work was all done in an amazingly short time and the service and support were excellent. These folks know what they are doing and do it well!

A couple of screws fell out of my laptop. I found one but I needed to replace the 2nd. I brought in my laptop and he screwed in my original and gave me a new one at no charge. I know it’s something that is small and cheap, but I still really appreciated the gesture. The service was quick, polite, and friendly.

This place is under new ownership and boy are we happy…I could not imagine going to anybody else to handle the SENITIVE information contained of our computers,phones,Mac,tablets,…AND home Wi Fi and repairs….Larry does it all….it’s hard to trust someone nowadays …but we have had Larry take care of our Macs,phones,etc for years and years ….he has knowledge and we would NOT go to anyone else…we strongly recommend him and we are glad he bought the business !!!!!..

Gary is extremely experienced and efficient when it comes to computer repairs. He’s extremely knowledgeble at fixing both Macs and Pc’s. I have been a PC all my life and he has always been around to fix my PC. Recently, I changed to a Macbook Pro and when I had some difficulties, he knew exactly what to do to fix it. Computer Spirit is always looking out for the best for their customers and I always come here for a computer fix. Great rates, great customer service, and I am always very satisfied witht he repairs! Highly recommend.

I cracked the screens on my Dell laptop and ipad (don’t ask!) and was more than a bit concerned – I spoke to Bryan White (PC Heaven) who has done repair for me before, and he recommended I call Laurance at Computer Spirit. I left him a message after 5, and he returned my call about 8:30PM – attentive customer service. I took my laptop and ipad in, he ordered the parts and both are working great, good as new. Most importantly, he did what he said he would do – the work got done on time at the price quoted, no surprises. 5 stars.
